Facebook ad mockup generator

Draft a Facebook feed ad without opening Ads Manager - watch your primary text hit the 125-character See more fold as you type, with Meta's real CTA buttons.

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent or stored anywhere.

Watch the fold

Your feed ad

0 / 125

Not a hard limit - roughly 125 characters show before the See more fold. Watch the preview fold as you pass it.

0 / 27

Truncates around 27 characters on most placements.

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent or stored anywhere - a share link carries your copy in the URL itself.

03 / Get it right

Before the fold, or never

The first sentence is the ad. Most people never tap See more, so the offer, the audience and the reason to act all have to land inside roughly 125 characters. Everything after the fold is supporting detail for the already-interested.

The headline is not a second body. It sits under the image next to the CTA button and truncates around 27 characters - name the offer or the product, nothing cleverer.

Match the click to the page. An ad that promises free delivery must land on a page that says free delivery above the fold. Message match is a conversion-rate lever before it is a copy nicety.

Message match is half of what we fix on PPC landing pages.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from Ads Manager's preview?
Ads Manager previews require a campaign draft, an ad account and a login - and sharing them with a client means screenshots or access. This mockup needs none of that: draft the copy, watch the fold, and send a share link that carries your text in the URL.
Is 125 characters a hard limit on primary text?
No. You can write far more - Meta folds the text behind See more at roughly 125 characters on feed placements. Everything that matters must land before the fold, because most people never tap it.
Do emojis and line breaks count toward the fold?
Yes. Emojis, spaces and line breaks all consume the visible budget, and a line break can trigger the fold even earlier. If the first sentence carries the offer, you are safe either way.
Why does Meta crop my image differently per placement?
One ad serves feed, Reels, Stories and more, and each placement wants a different ratio. Upload placement-specific assets - 1:1 or 4:5 for feed, 9:16 for vertical - rather than letting Meta auto-crop one image everywhere.
